Freedom.
Freedom is a gift.
Freedom is also a responsibility.
The freedom to choose the husband you’ll be.
The freedom to choose the Father your children deserve.
The freedom to break the cycles you inherited.
The freedom to become the Father you needed growing up.
The freedom to change your family tree.
To every Dad reading this…
Your kids don’t need a perfect Father.
They need a present one.
No matter what your story has been, today is an opportunity to write a different chapter.
One day, your children will tell stories about you.
Live today in a way that makes those stories worth telling.
This Fourth of July, I’m grateful for the strength God has given me to lead, to love, and to be fully present for the three greatest gifts He’s entrusted me with.
Choose freedom.
Choose presence.
