It was another special Team Dinner tonight, with some special guests. The senior dads were invited to join their sons and their sons' teammates for some delicious chicken, mac n cheese, green beans, garlic bread and desserts. Tonight's Team Dinner was sponsored by Gibson Area Hospital and Health Services and served by our senior moms. Thank you moms, GAHHS and our Gibson City American Legion for hosting.

Another great team dinner tonight as we prepare for our week 2 match-up against Ridgeviw-Lexington in Colfax tomorrow.
A wonderful potato bar with all the fixins, some healthy fruit and a touch of dessert. The laughter, conversation and comradery is what these events are all about. We'll, and the food too.
Prepepared and served by our Senior moms. Hosted by the American LegionPost 568 and sponsored by Falcon's Nest, Hustetd Jewelers, Safe Units and VSI (Vivid Studios). Thank you all for your continued support of our Falcon Football Family.

Week 1 team dinner. The senior moms (and mother figures) joined their sons tonight for our first team dinner of the 2026 season. The seniors took time this week to write these special women a thank you note for all the support and love they've shown throughout their young lives. Then they carried on the GCMS football tradition of putting the Falcon decals on together. Thank you ladies for sharing your sons with us for one more season.
A shout out to the Junior moms and Drummer Creek Catering for the fantastic meal. Go Falcons!

We had a great turnout for our Senior Dads Night at practice last night. The seniors chose their favorite position specific drills, both offensively and defensively, and coached their own dads through the drill. There were a lot of smiles, laughs and no injuries. All dads were great sports and showed some pretty good skills. Us old guys still have some athleticism left in us.
My deepest apologies, in the all the excitement and enjoyment of seeing the fun interaction between dads and sons, we did not get any pictures of this event.
Thank you senior dads for your participation. It means a lot to your sons and us coaches to have you join us last night. You have some amazing young men and we appreciate you sharing them with our Falcon Football Family.

Let us introduce you to the Goalline Gladiators. The inaugural winners of the Unit Group summer competition. Points were earned for community service attendance, weight room attendance, practice attendance, and fun competition (water balloon games, tire flip, relays, Chubby Bunny, Ultimate Frisbee). Groups were picked by coaches. Thank you to the Patels and Gibson City DQ for the hospitality and continued support of Falcon Athletics. .
