Big moment for Coach JJ!

This week, Coach John had the honor of awarding Coach JJ his first stripe on his black belt!

In Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the first stripe comes after a minimum of 3 years as a black belt and represents continued training, teaching, growth, and dedication to the art.

For those who know JJ, you know how much of himself he pours into this academy, his students, and Jiu Jitsu. He’s always learning, always teaching, and always looking for ways to make those around him better.

Three years as a black belt and still putting in the work. Congratulations, Coach, on your first stripe! Very well deserved and we couldn’t be more proud! Help me congratulate our very own Coach JJ. 👏 👏

🔥 POSSIBLE NEW CLASS ALERT! 🔥
Today, a few of our youth grapplers asked if they could spend some time learning more stand-up techniques, and I absolutely loved it! It’s always exciting when kids are hungry to learn and asking for more. We spent some time working on putting together a few stand-up techniques that can not only improve their overall Jiu-Jitsu game, but also help them continue developing their real-world self-defense skills.
It got me thinking… 🤔
If we have enough youth grapplers interested, we may just have to add a dedicated Youth/Teen MMA class to the schedule! 👀🔥 Parents & Grapplers, would you be interested in this class? Drop a 🥋 or YES in the comments and let us know!

Another Pan Kids Camp is officially in the books, and what an incredible week it was!
We had 26 dedicated competitors come together to prepare for the largest youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in the world, which kicks off in just a few days in Florida. Most of these young athletes logged 30+ hours of training in just one week—and they did it with great attitudes, relentless effort, and a desire to get better every single day.
They pushed each other, supported one another, and finished an unforgettable week with an awesome pool party. I couldn’t be more proud of this group and the culture they’re building.
Pan Kids… we’re ready. Here we come!
