🥎✨ ’Twas the Night Before Softball Season ✨🥎
’Twas the night before softball season,
and all through the park,
Not a player was stirring,
the fields were all dark.
The cleats were lined up
by the front door with care,
With hopes that Opening Day
soon would be there.
The gloves had been oiled,
the bats packed up tight,
While softball girls dreamed
of home runs all night. 💭🥎
The jerseys were ready,
the bows matched just right,
And parents set alarms
for wayyy before daylight. 😂
Soon coaches will holler,
“PLAY BALL!” from the field,
As pitchers throw strikes
and fielders make steals.
There’ll be dirt on their knees,
and cheers from the crowd,
With teammates and families
cheering extra loud! 📣
So get some good sleep,
because tomorrow’s the day…
