Fresh snow from the snowmaking machines covered the hill as skiers kicked off another season at Loveland. And judging by the photo, no lift lines to worry about!

🥈 CONGRATULATIONS, ZOE!
We’re proud to announce that Loveland’s Zoe Corigliano finished 2nd in the 2026 Rise Up Challenge, presented by SAM Magazine (Ski Area Management) and Leitner-Poma of America!
This year’s challenge saw a record 6,185 votes cast for six up-and-coming lift mechanics and their teams from across North America.
Zoe’s second-place finish earned Loveland’s Lift Maintenance team a $1,500 education grant to support continued training and development.
A huge thank you to everyone who voted, shared and supported Zoe throughout the challenge. We’re incredibly proud of Zoe for stepping into the spotlight, sharing her story and representing Loveland and our Lift Maintenance team.
Congratulations to Josh Storino and the Mount Snow team on taking the top spot, and to all six mountains for sharing the stories of the people who keep our industry moving.

Now that’s a lot of snow.
After heavy snowfall buried Loveland, the crew had to get creative — pulling a rope underneath the snow piled on the roof to help send it sliding off.
A little throwback appreciation for Area Maintenance, then and now, for doing whatever it takes to keep Loveland running. 💪
Here’s hoping they have plenty of snow to move this season. 😉❄️
