Some times you have to do whats right. Police YOUR LOCAL SKATE PARK. Stand up for whats right in a friendly manner. Dont let people litter, graffiti, or disrespect the only place we can enjoy our skateboard, bike, scooter or roller skate the City of Georgetown provided for our community.
Mike Cervasi did April 21st 5:30pm & now he is band from the park for god knows how long 6-12 months. Ask around what actually happened that day.
Did you know Mike in 2003 proposed the city to build the skate park, 2004 helped design the skate park all while still living in New Jersey traveled here for the very park, 2016 proposed the park to be rebuilt ( almost happened in 2020 but covid cost of materials inflation put a stop to that ), 2022 the skate park was bulldozed / torn down without warning or public statement & in 2023 he vollentered his own time 60+ hours, money, supplies, tools & expert ramp building experience to amost completely redesign / rebuild the very skate park with his own hands with the help of Park & Recreation that yall are enjoying to this day.
The City of Georgetown Parks & Recreation thankfully supports the skate park & we are greatful to still have a skate park.
Thats why yall havent see Mike aka Jersey at the park.
