Genoa City Park and Pool

A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to the Genoa Lions Club for another wonderful volunteer project that was recently completed in the park!

The city park equipment shed was looking pretty worn down, so they spent time prepping and then repainting it. It looks so much better! (They also repainted the south picnic shelter this summer and we’ve gotten several compliments on it.)

We really appreciate the time the Genoa Lions Club has given to help improve our park and our community! Well done!! 👍

Time to hang the other batting cage net!!

We appreciate all of the people that helped put up the first one!! VanDriel family, Nick & Wendy Ramaekers, Bob Green, Cory & Alyssa Prorok family, Lee Moser, Kevin Seier, Mike Rodriguez, Jesse Robinson, and anyone else I may have forgotten….THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone!

We will put up the other net this Wednesday at 6 p.m. If we have enough help, it should only take about an hour. (If anyone coming has a ladder, please bring it. It was nice to have several—8 ft minimum.)

Reminder that this is TONIGHT @ 6:00 p.m.

The Park Board was able to purchase new batting cage nets this year! We need the help of some volunteers to help put them up on Wednesday, August 12th @ 6:00 p.m.

Our batting cages get a lot of use from many of our local teams and families. If you use the facility, please consider stopping down to help with this much needed update!

The pool will be open from 11-1:30 and 4:30 to 8:30 on Friday 8/14!
