What an incredible week at Estuary Explorers Camp: Marsh Mysteries Week!
Our campers spent last week exploring, discovering, creating, and connecting with nature through hands-on adventures and outdoor fun.
From making s’mores in a handmade solar oven to meeting a bearded dragon, every day was filled with exciting learning experiences. Campers enjoyed nature walks as they searched for Marshy the Missing Fiddler Crab, tried their hand at fishing, created NART (Nature + Art) projects, challenged themselves on the climbing wall, and played plenty of games along the way.
Throughout the week, campers learned about birds, bears, frogs, fiddler crabs, grasshoppers, and other amazing animal adaptations while practicing nature journaling and exploring the marsh around them. They also became environmental stewards by learning about water pollution and helping keep the EEC clean through a litter pick-up activity.
Thank you to all of our campers for bringing so much curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm to an unforgettable week at the Estuarine Education Center! The fun isn’t over yet—we can’t wait to see where this week's Estuary Explorers Camp takes us next!
