Our mission is to Reach, Rescue and Restore hurting children, families and horses through equine assisted therapies. Our strategy is to harness the power of Ranch’s Wellness Wheel to empower people to take control of their mind, body and spiritual wellness by celebrating areas that are thriving and to identify areas that need attention in order to strengthen their sense of identity. Our services include: Couseling and Coaching, Therapeutic and Recreational Riding, Educational Programs for Schools and Businesses, and Ranch Rentals (for parties and weddings)

Today, we remember.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and every person who has carried the weight of September 11th in the years since.

Grief doesn’t follow a timeline. It doesn’t disappear when the rest of the world moves forward. And remembrance is one of the ways we continue to carry those we have lost with us.

At Bit of Hope Ranch, we understand the importance of having a place where grief is allowed to exist — without explanation, without expectation, and without a deadline.

So today, we hold space.

For those who are grieving.
For those who are remembering.
For those carrying memories that still feel like yesterday.
And for every life forever changed by September 11, 2001.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🌟 Growing Volunteers into Leaders 🌟

As Bit of Hope Ranch continues to grow, so does the need for strong hands, willing hearts, and leaders who are ready to step up. 💛🐴

We recently created a new Barn Lead volunteer position, and we’re so excited to recognize the incredible volunteers who were nominated to step into this role!

Our Barn Leads are volunteers who have consistently shown initiative, reliability, leadership, and a willingness to jump in wherever they’re needed. They’ve learned the flow of the barn, know how to get things done, and are able to help our instructors by guiding and delegating tasks to fellow volunteers during lessons.

But what we love most about this new role is what it represents: growth within our volunteer program. 🌱

Volunteering at Bit of Hope isn’t just about lending a hand—it’s an opportunity to learn new skills, take on more responsibility, build confidence, and grow into leadership roles along the way.

To our Barn Leads: THANK YOU! Your initiative, hard work, and willingness to step up are making a difference. As our programs continue to grow and more individuals and families come through our gates, having volunteers who are ready to lead and support others is more important than ever. Some of the most important work at the Ranch happens quietly behind the scenes. 💚🐴

Today, we want to give a HUGE shoutout to Bridg and Rebecca, who gave up more than 6 hours of their weekend to help repair and restore our ramp after it began developing soft spots and rotting boards.

It might seem like “just a ramp,” but this ramp sees 50+ clients every single week as they make their way to and from lessons and mental health sessions. Keeping it safe, sturdy, and accessible is a small piece of Ranch upkeep that makes a very big difference for the people we serve.

We also want to thank Josh, who originally jumped in and got this project started, and Bridg and Rebecca for picking up where he left off and helping bring it across the finish line. 🛠️❤️

Our Ranch simply wouldn’t be what it is without people who are willing to give their time, talents, and a little weekend sweat to help us care for this place and the people who depend on it.

Some horses require a little extra care — and sometimes, one special person chooses to stand beside them through it all. ❤️🐴

For Asia, that person has been Josie for more than 15 years.

Asia came to Bit of Hope Ranch foundered and has a history of laminitis, hoof soreness, abscesses, and other complications requiring ongoing veterinary and farrier care. This weekend brought another scary moment when Asia developed a significant nosebleed that continued into Monday. Because it was coming from the same side as her previous eye removal, our veterinarian came out for X-rays, bloodwork, and further evaluation.

And when the vet arrived, Josie was right there beside Asia. ❤️

For 15+ years, Josie has been a familiar face and a source of comfort through flare-ups, emergency surgeries, vet visits, farrier care, and plenty of happy pasture days in between. Her sponsorship isn’t simply a monthly donation — it’s a relationship built over years of showing up for a horse she loves.

Thankfully, Asia is now on day THREE with no nosebleed and is happily back in the pasture with her friends. 🌱🐴

Today, only 6 of our 16 program horses have monthly sponsors. A full horse sponsorship is $300/month, helping offset the ongoing cost of caring for our herd.

But you don’t have to sponsor an entire horse to make an impact. Every level of monthly giving adds up. ❤️

🐴 $15/month can help cover everyday care essentials
🌾 $40/month can help with feed, hay and supplements
🩺 $100/month can help offset veterinary, farrier and wellness expenses
❤️ $300/month provides a full monthly horse sponsorship

Whether it’s $15 or $300 a month, consistent giving helps ensure we can provide the care our horses need — from everyday necessities to unexpected emergencies like Asia’s.
