We had a lot of DA baby birds fly the nest and chase their dreams. Starting with DeMya Powell ā£ļøŽ . We are so proud of you DeMya! Hereā€™s her update:

Hereā€™s an update on lifeā€¦Moved into my freshman dorm and started my dance classes, starting off with ballet, modern, and improv this semester. I auditioned for a piece by Billy Hawkains for the fall dance concert and made it! I met some new friends from the dance department, as well as the dance team and have been taking group fitness classes with them. Iā€™m also looking into taking some open commercial dance classes at LDC in Charlotte too.

Also, thank you and Esmee so much for teaching me all the different ballet terminology at Dance Ascension because when my teacher asks questions in class and people may not know the definition or answer, I do:)ā€
