Making muscle a priority isn’t just a fitness goal in perimenopause... it’s an aging well strategy.

As hormones shift, we naturally lose muscle, which can impact our metabolism, energy, strength, and overall health.

That’s why I’m lifting weights, eating my protein, and staying consistent.

I’m not working out to look younger.
I’m building the strength to live better, longer.

Strong muscles. Strong bones. Strong future. 💚

You are probably stronger than you think. 💪

One of the biggest mistakes I see women make is staying with the same weights for way too long.

Here’s a simple rule:

If you can complete all 3 sets of 12 reps with good form and still feel like you had plenty left in the tank, it’s time to go up in weight.

Your body only changes when you give it a reason to adapt.

And let’s be honest...

You carry kids.
You haul all the groceries in one trip.
You move furniture around when nobody else is home.
You wrestle with cases of water from Costco.

You are not limited to 5 or 10 pound dumbbells.

Building muscle isn’t about becoming bulky. It’s about becoming stronger, improving your metabolism, supporting hormone health, protecting your bones, and creating the strength you’ll be grateful for in your 50s, 60s, and beyond.

Sometimes life forces you into a new chapter you never planned for.

When the business I spent 14 years building disappeared, there was grief in that. Not just for the income… but for the identity, the friendships, the purpose, and the vision we had worked so hard for.

But I’ve learned something in this season…

You are never too old, too late, or too stuck to start again.
