Congratulations to the Fruitport Equestrian Team for winning the MIHA District 9B Division Championship. The team delivered an outstanding performance, securing the title by an impressive margin of 223 points.
Individual point contributions for the district run included Aubree Martin with a stellar 209 points, Lainey Jacobson with 202 points, Sedona Norwood with 120 points, Jaelynn Flanery with 117 points, and Rylee Cihak with 103 points. In addition to her high-scoring run, Lainey Jacobson was honored with the Judge’s Choice Award for Meet 2.
Fruitport will now advance to the regional championship, which will take place at the Mason County Fairgrounds in Ludington, Michigan, on October 3 and 4. Best of luck to our riders as they compete at the next level.
