All a coach can ask for is that his team works to improve from game to game. When you play 6 games in 5 days it is easy to measure and these boys certainly did. The character of this team showed on Sunday morning as they carried a 1-0 lead from the bottom of the first to the top of the 7th. We let up a run in the top of the inning but we came together and put up the winning run in the bottom of that inning to advance. True Raptors Baseball. The other thing a coach wants is comradery. I think we have that, they hung out together for 5 straight days not only on the field but off. Then on the way home the group chat continues and so do the laughs. Proud to be part of this group. Proud to be called Coach. And as always. Thank you to the Raptors families for all your support.

Some good baseball over the weekend. Down 2 in the top of the 7th to take the lead on a Connor S. triple!!! Then Mason B. seals the game in the bottom of the 7th after throwing 4 solid innings. Great game boys back to it again Sunday!

Finally some baseball! The winter workouts are behind us and it was time to take the field this past Sunday. The bats were hot and the legs were moving as we put up 17 runs in our first outing of the season to take the win. Still work to do but overall a good performance by everyone on the team and the newbies were ready to go. Back to work and back to the field in two weeks. Yes. I was cold.

Thank you to all who participated in The Royersford Raptors Super Bowl pool! We sold 77 squares for a total pot of $1540. This is a 50 percent pool so each quarter will be worth $192.50. If the score ends with a block that is not occupied that money will be added to the remaining three scores and so on until there is a payout.
