Purposed II Praise is a Christian Dance School focusing on technique as it relates to ministry of movement. Refer to dancepiip.wixsite.com/purposed-ii-praise
On December 2013, Purposed II Praise School of Dance began. The school is strategically located in the intercity of downtown Fresno in order to be accessible and affordable for families who otherwise would not be able to afford to send their children or for adults who could not personally attend due to the more expensive tuition fees charged by other dance schools in the city. "Contemporary dance" is a versatile concert dance style, that emerged in the 1950s and 1960s.
It emphasizes improvisation, unexpected movements, and self-expression, while still maintaining a strong focus on technique.
Contemporary dance is rooted in ballet technique, but also incorporates elements of jazz, lyrical, and modern dance.
It allows dancers to move freely and express themselves emotionally and physically, unlike the structured nature of ballet. - Google
