The lollipops are always a BIG deal around here…

The best part? The kids earn them.

ā€œI did so good!ā€
ā€œI worked hard for this!ā€
ā€œWhat flavor am I going to get today?ā€

Those little moments make it all worth the effort.

And fair warning… they might get just a little territorial over their favorite flavor. šŸ˜‚šŸ

Most parents are doing the best they can—but when it comes to water safety, a few common mistakes can make a big difference.
šŸ’¦ Trusting floaties instead of teaching swim skills.ā€ØšŸ’¦ Waiting too long to start lessons.ā€ØšŸ’¦ Taking long breaks between lessons.ā€ØšŸ’¦ Looking away ā€œjust for a second.ā€ā€ØšŸ’¦ Giving up because tears happen.
The good news? Every one of these can be changed.
At Jamie’s School of Fish, we’re here to help families build real confidence, real swim skills, and safer habits around the water. Progress doesn’t happen overnight, but every lesson is a step toward a safer, more confident swimmer.
Which one surprised you the most? Let us know in the comments! šŸ‘‡

We live in Fresno, where summers are made for the water.
Whether it’s a backyard pool, a beach trip, or a family vacation, some of life’s best memories happen in and around the water.
Our goal isn’t just to teach your child how to swim. It’s to prepare them for those moments before they happen.
The moment they swim across the pool on their own.
The moment they jump in with confidence.
The moment Mom or Dad realizes just how far they’ve come.
Those are the memories that last a lifetime—and we’re honored to be a small part of them. šŸ šŸ’™

It’s easy to think a few swim lessons are enough—but real progress comes from showing up consistently.
Just like reading, sports, or music, swimming is a skill that grows with regular practice. Our year-round lesson program helps kids continue building confidence, independence, and water safety all year long.
Because every lesson is another step toward a safer, more confident swimmer. 🐠

We hate to be the bearers of bad news... but those rainbow floaties aren’t giving your child swimming superpowers. šŸ¦øā€ā™‚ļøšŸŒˆ
They may help keep little ones afloat, but they don’t teach balance, floating, or what to do if they unexpectedly end up in the water.
The real MVPs?ā€ØšŸ’™ Swim lessonsā€ØšŸ’™ Close adult supervisionā€ØšŸ’™ Coast Guard-approved life jackets for boating and open water
Because the goal isn’t to wear floaties forever—it’s to outgrow them. šŸŠ

At Jamie’s School of Fish, we believe in your child’s ability—even if they’re under 2 years old. Learning doesn’t have to mean swimming across the pool. Sometimes it starts with the little things: getting comfortable in the water, pouring water over their head, blowing bubbles, or taking a ride in the inner tube. Even if they don’t love it at first, those small experiences help build confidence, trust, and comfort around water.
The earlier children begin building a positive relationship with the water, the stronger their foundation will be as they grow. Every little step counts. šŸ’™
