First Tee - Fresno

🏌️⛳ Great news for the Central Valley! Our trusted partner of over 19 years, CourseCo, will take over operations of the former Valley Golf Center beginning August 1st. For the First Tee – Fresno, this means another opportunity to continue empowering local kids with the life skills, confidence, and values that golf helps teach.

Valley Golf Center has been a huge supporter of our chapter for many, many years with our classes always selling out at this location and we are eternally grateful to their operators, Cindy and Leila, and staff.

Moving forward, we know that CourseCo is committed to providing access for the kids in our chapter. We are grateful to everyone involved in this transition while working to help this community resource available for future generations.

Last month, one of our biggest supporters left his post as the ABC30 Sports Director to move down to LA. Even though Stephen wasn’t originally from Fresno, he fully embraced our program and the sports community as a whole! We appreciate everything you did for our chapter Stephen from emceeing our fundraisers, covering our kids success stories, and even being our starter at the Len Ross Memorial. Come back and visit anytime!

Parker Parry is in! The Clovis West Junior will be competing at this year’s Championship at Pebble Beach! After moving and being involved with three different chapters, we are so excited to have her represent our chapter at this prestigious event.

Week 1 of Tee It Up Tour is officially in the books for summer 2026. We have three options each week: Developmental, Team, and Tournament League! Each offers a different level of competition and skill needed to compete. Visit our website until Tee It Up Tour to learn more about each on course league.

Congratulations to our Ridge Creek and Developmental League coach on becoming a PGA Class A Member today! He was presented his certification from our First Tee Board Chair and General Manager of Keith Berry, who was his mentor through the process. You can find Coach Trevor working as the Head Golf Professional and Thursday afternoon classes starting this week!

In partnership with Riverside Golf Course, we are hosting our first ever practice day the the afternoon before the local qualifying! Come try the skills, see the set up, ask questions and more prior to the event the next morning. We will NOT use the putting green or range area that will be used for the skills the fay of the event.
