Please review the check-in checklist above and make sure you are prepared for athlete check-in and your polygraph examination.
POLYGRAPH SCHEDULING UPDATE: I am still actively texting athletes to schedule polygraph examinations. Messages are being sent out gradually as I work through the athlete list and available appointment times.
If you have not received a text yet, please don't worry β€” I am still working through the list. Please be patient and keep an eye on your text messages over the next several days.
Travel distance and athlete availability are being taken into consideration when scheduling.

Athlete check-ins and polygraph examinations will take place September 24th & 25th at our host hotel:

Check-in will be located in the 1st-floor meeting space.
πŸ“² POLYGRAPH SCHEDULING:
We are still sending out text messages and scheduling polygraph appointments for registered athletes. If you have not received your text message yet, please be patient β€” we are working through the athlete list and will be contacting you.
⏰ Please arrive approximately 20 minutes before your scheduled polygraph appointment to complete waivers, check in, and allow time for any questions.
πŸ“ Athlete Measurements:
Athlete heights will be measured in centimeters during check-in. Height classes will be determined after athlete measurements have been completed.
βš–οΈ BODYBUILDERS:
Open Bodybuilding competitors ONLY will weigh in on Friday, September 25th. All other divisions/classes will have their required height measurements completed during check-in.
πŸͺͺ Please remember to bring your ID to your polygraph appointment. Athletes under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

🏨 COMPETITION TAN REMINDER:
Please protect all hotel beds, sheets, furniture, and other hotel property from competition tan. We strongly recommend bringing your own sheets or bed coverings. Athletes may be responsible for any additional cleaning or damage caused by tanning products.

Please be patient as we will schedule in order of entry. We will take into consideration travel and time. Please bring 80$ cash for the examiner. We’ve been receiving a lot of the same questions from competitors, so here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions!
❓ When are polygraphs scheduled?
Polygraphs are typically scheduled after registration closes, approximately 2–3 weeks before the show date. Competitors will receive scheduling information once appointments are available.
❓ What is the competitor number shown on my bio?
Competitor numbers are assigned after registration closes. If you do not have a competitor number yet, no worries β€” one will be assigned to you once registration is complete.
❓ When is the deadline to submit my music and bio?
Music and bios for Bodybuilding competitors are due 2 weeks before the show date. If a bio is not submitted, we will use a generic thank-you message recognizing your friends, family, and supporters.
❓ Where is the show being held?
The Battle of the Bay is held at the Ohlone College Smith Center in Fremont, California. A venue map is available on our main website.
⚠️ The competition is NOT held at the host hotel.
❓ Do you have a makeup artist?
We currently do not have an official makeup artist for the event. If you know a makeup artist who may be interested in working with our competitors, please let us know β€” we are open to contracting someone for the show.
