⚾ Do you have a kid who might want to try baseball?

We’ve had a great turnout at both of our tryouts and our teams are coming together for 2027, but we still have room!

When we say “tryout,” we’re really just looking for a chance to meet your player, see where they’re at and figure out which team is the best fit. We want kids to have fun, learn the game, be part of a team and hopefully find a love for baseball.

Maybe they’ve played for years. Maybe they’ve never played at all. Either way, we’d love to meet them.

If you missed our tryouts, just send us a message. We’ll find a time that works and get your player figured out!

We’re building our 2027 Heartland Athletics baseball teams, and we want more kids to come out and give baseball a try!

Maybe he’s never played before. Maybe he already loves the game. Maybe he’s just curious about what playing on a team would be like.

That’s what tryouts are for.

No experience needed. No commitment. No pressure. Just come out, get on the field, and see what he thinks.

🚨 TRYOUTS RESCHEDULED! 🚨

Due to the flood watch 🌊, two straight days of rain 🌧️, and the possibility of more rain tomorrow ⛈️, Heartland Athletics tryouts scheduled for Saturday, August 15 have been RESCHEDULED.

⚾️ NEW TRYOUT DATE: SATURDAY, AUGUST 29

We want to make sure everyone has a safe, playable field and the best opportunity to show us what they can do!

Don’t worry—we’re not done yet!

We’ll be holding another round of tryouts and player evaluations for all age groups on:

🕘 9:00–11:00 AM
🌆 5:00–7:00 PM

If you’ve already registered but weren’t able to attend our first tryouts, we’ll be reaching out to you. If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time!

We’d love the opportunity to meet your player and evaluate them for the 2027 season.

What an incredible couple of days! Thank you to all of the players and families who came out to our first Heartland Athletics tryouts. We couldn’t be happier with the turnout and are excited to get the season underway!

Our coaches will be reviewing evaluations, and families can expect to hear from us within the next week with team placement information and next steps.

At Heartland Athletics, we believe every player deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the game. If you missed these tryouts or are still looking for a place to play, don’t worry—we’ll be announcing additional tryout dates, a Sandlot Baseball event, and a skills clinic soon. We’d love to have you join us.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our first tryouts such a success. We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to continue building something special together.
