Nine Ladies Dancing - Dance Academy Unleashing Dancers purest potential of the mind, body, and soul. Our school is a place where the joy of dance and community are celebrated.

Our purpose at Nine-Ladies Dancing Dance Academy is to manifest the fruits of the Sprit in our life’s and to fulfill the Great Commandment (Luke 10:27): To love and worship the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength through life, dance, and the arts. We want to be a blessing to our dancers who wish to develop their character as well as their dance technique. We are dedicated to providing a loving, encouraging, Christ-centered environment while training dancers to express their joy in dance to the world. Each student is encouraged to strive for their personal best in a non-competitive, accepting environment. We seek to foster an environment in which students are lovingly challenged in their pursuit of artistic excellence and are nurtured along the path to maturity. Our highly qualified faculty and staff share in this vision for students. When you join Nine-Ladies Dancing Dance Academy family, as a student or parent, it’s our hope that you will not only discover a love for the creative art of dance, but that you will be inspired to continue on a lifelong journey of discovering a love for the One who created it.

🎄✨ CALLING ALL CHRISTMAS PARADE DANCERS! ✨🎄

It’s time to spread some Christmas cheer! ❤️

Join us as we dance, celebrate, and remind our community of the reason for the season at the Grafton Christmas Parade! It’s such a fun opportunity to perform outside the studio, dance alongside your friends, and kick off the Christmas season together!

🎄 Who can join?
Dancers age 6 and up!
Dancers under 6 are welcome to walk the parade with an adult and help pass things out behind the dancers.

Fridays, 5:00–5:30 PM
October 16–November 21

**NEW THIS YEAR!** We have brand-new parade sweatshirts featuring our official new studio logo! Everyone participating in the parade will need the new sweatshirt. This will be our permanent parade sweatshirt, so you’ll be able to wear it for years to come!

Parents walking in the parade are welcome to order a sweatshirt too — just be sure to include your size!

👕 SIZING NOTE: Sweatshirts will be worn over jackets and layers, so please keep that in mind when choosing your size!

💳 Parade class and sweatshirt will be charged to the credit card on file.

WE MADE IT. 😭🙌🏼💃

Can we just take a moment to celebrate the fact that we DON’T HAVE TO MAKE ANY MORE BUILDING REELS?! 😂

No more construction updates.
No more “look what we’re installing today!”
No more floors, mirrors, paint, furniture, landscaping, cleaning, moving, assembling, fixing, or “we’re almost there!” 🤣

Because now… WE GET TO POST ABOUT DANCE. 🩰✨

And honestly, we LOVE IT. ❤️

After months (and months… and MONTHS 😂) of building, planning, stressing, working, cleaning, praying, and wondering if we would ever actually get to this point…

We are finally here.

The building is done.
The doors are open.
The dancers are back.
And now we get to do what Nine Ladies Dancing was created to do:

DANCE. 💃
GROW. 🩰
SERVE. ❤️
AND GLORIFY GOD THROUGH IT ALL.

So goodbye building reels 👋🏼😂
And HELLO dance reels!!! 💃💃💃

💃 DANCE PARENT DOS & DON’TS! 😂

Our dancers had a little fun pretending to be the parents and students for this one! But behind the laughs are a few things that help our dance classes run smoothly and help our dancers become more independent, confident, and responsible. ❤️

Here are a few NLD reminders:

1️⃣ DON’T carry your dancer into class.
DO hold their hand, encourage them, and cheer them on—but give them the opportunity to walk into class independently! 👏

2️⃣ DON’T wait until class starts to use the bathroom. 🚽
DO encourage your dancer to use the bathroom before class so they’re ready to dance when class begins!

3️⃣ DON’T arrive late. ⏰
DO try to arrive at least 5 minutes early so your dancer has time to get shoes on, use the bathroom, and be ready to go right at class time!

4️⃣ DON’T come to class without proper dance apparel. 🩰
DO make sure your dancer is dressed according to the NLD dress code so they can move comfortably and our teachers can properly see their alignment and technique.

✨ Sidenote: We know the first few weeks can be a little different! If you’re still waiting for dance apparel to arrive or figuring out sizing/orders, we understand. There’s always grace! ❤️

These little habits make a BIG difference in helping our dancers learn responsibility and independence while keeping class time focused on what they came to do…

Today’s Meet Our Staff spotlight is a little extra special, and our last one, because we’re introducing you to the person who started it all — our studio owner Miss Cari!

What began as a love of dance has grown into a studio filled with dancers, families, teachers, memories, and so many answered prayers. From the big things to the tiniest details, Miss Cari pours her heart into creating a place where dancers can grow not only in their dancing, but also as people.

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes of running a dance studio, so today we’re letting you get to know a little more about the person behind it all!

IT’S HERE! The first day of dance is finally here! 🩰✨

A new season means new goals, new friendships, new memories, and so many moments to celebrate. And this year is extra special because it’s our first season in our brand new studio! We can’t wait to fill these new walls with laughter, music, dancing, and memories.

A few first-day reminders:
• Arrive a 5-10 minutes early so your dancer has time to get settled.
• Double-check what room or rooms your classes are in!
• Bring a labeled water bottle and dance bag.
• Double-check your class dress code, pull your hair back in a bun, and make sure shoes are ready to go!
• Most importantly, come ready to dance, have fun, and make some magic.

Whether this is your very first dance class or you've been dancing with us for years, we are SO excited to start this journey together.

What a day to remember! 💛✨

Our Grand Opening was everything we could have hoped for and more. From dancing and laughter to sweet treats, new friends, and so many familiar faces, we loved celebrating this brand-new space with the people who make Nine Ladies Dancing so special.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and helped make our first season in our new studio one we’ll never forget. We are SO excited for all the memories, growth, and dancing that are still to come!
