There are no weight classes in the gauntlet. Sensei Justin Hagen is stepping into the ring at 167 lbs, fighting continuously in wraps only—no shin guards—against a rotating line of hungry challengers for 1-minute rounds who get to choose their gear in an attempt to reach 25-100 rounds. No breaks.

ABOUT THE EVENT
In Kyokushin, we honor the past, but we forge the future. We are transforming our Sweep the Leg IV event to instead be an Iron Gauntlet Challenge. On August 1st, we are launching a brand new standard of martial arts testing inspired by the legendary spirit of Sosai Mas Oyama and the unshakeable resolve of Fudo Myōō.
This is an open-invitation crucible. We are welcoming ALL styles—Muay Thai, MMA, Kickboxing, Boxing, and Traditional Martial Arts—to step onto our mat. Bring your style and your standard gear (Boxing gloves, MMA gloves, or Bare-Knuckle).
