What an incredible season.
Our 7th Grade Girls have officially finished as AAU World Championship Runner-Up, and what they've accomplished is something to celebrate.
From the very first practice to the final game of the season, this team committed themselves to getting better every single day. They put in the work, trusted each other, overcame challenges, and represented Maryland Movement with heart, toughness, and class. To finish as the second-best team at the AAU World Championships is an achievement very few teams ever get to experience, and these girls earned every bit of it.
A huge thank you to Coach Mike, Coach Adam, and Coach Chaz. Your countless hours in the gym, your belief in these girls, and the love, guidance, and support you've poured into them all season have been instrumental in this team's success. The impact you've made goes far beyond basketball.
To our players, be proud of what you've accomplished. Championships are incredible, but they don't define a season. The friendships you've built, the adversity you've overcome, the memories you've created, and the standard you've set for Maryland Movement are what truly matter.
Congratulations on an unforgettable season. We couldn't be prouder of every player, coach, and family who helped make this journey possible.
