As a Somatic Coach, I center the body and nervous system as anchors in healing and personal growth.

I help people find freedom from living in survival mode, shed conditioning and accumulated stress, and come back home to their hearts and bodies.

5 years ago today I flew across the country to meet this human in person for the first time. I am as completely in love with them as I was when we first met.

Words are hard to find for the life we share. We have faced a lot of challenges together, and we met as we were both in process of emerging through huge initiatory portals of loss and change.

Our love is deep. A Pisces sun + moon plus a Scorpio sun + moon. We explore huge visions together, and we struggle together. We laugh and cry and paint together. We grieve together. We learn together. We are weird as f**k together. We support each other, we do the work of relationship together.

It was only a few months before we met that I started sharing out loud my dream seed of a conscious relationship. I’m so deeply grateful that I opened my heart to her, then and many times after.

With all of my love for you Amanda Lucia | 🌈Embodiment Photographer

✨Creating the reality we want to see with small but meaningful relational rituals✨

Sometimes the dream of the world we want to see seems so out of reach. The challenges too overwhelming, but I am in an age of living in my inner power which means breaking things downs into meaningful repeating relational rituals.

Weekly community dinners
Weekly partner relationship check-ins
Daily connection with the land (even if some days are just 5 minutes)
Regularly asking for and offering help to friends
Staying with relationships after the initial rush of a new concept or idea passes
(Relationships with people, community, the land, grief, myself, etc)

It’s a work in progress, but this is a definite place of deepening I’m seeing in myself. The capacity to keep tending long enough for the long term visions to take root and grow.

Part of why so many people feel empty, and what so many of us are calling in, is belonging - as people like Francis Weller and Holly Truhlar call it - a cosmology of belonging.

A cosmology of relationship. It gets remembered and rebuilt by living it.

When the amnesia takes back over, come back to the remembering. And then follow through in whatever ways you can. Big or small. And keep doing it.

I started a Substack!!! I love writing and I am so excited to let it pour forth, so go over and give me a follow! My first post is live, and here are some other photos of life lately, the seen and tangible moments that have delighted me, when to be honest so much lately has felt in the unseen realms for me.

Do you ever just look around and think - when did it get so insane around here? I don’t just mean fascism unfolding and climate crisis kind of insane, but also a “I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore” kind of feeling? I’m thinking of this sort of bubble from when I was a kid when people went to school and grew up and got careers and got married and had kids. The American dream vibe, the trees don’t talk and we don’t need to grieve and spells aren’t real kind of vibe.

What I mean is that reality is bending (I love Charles Eisenstein’s take on this). In the cracks and crevices, in the pockets of the sacred, things like telepathy are happening, and UAP sightings (I’m not an expert by any means but I hear the whispers), alternative healing, spells being cast, rituals setting change in motion.

I experience this often in healing work and in community rituals - incredible synchronicities, the way knowing the way in ways we can never predict.

I am honestly blown away by the number of brilliant minds/hearts/souls on these platforms who are sharing their gifts with the world and the way our wisdom and initiations weave together.

Our consciousness is connected, and it’s my sense that we are all contributing to bending this reality into one (or many) that actually MAKE SOME SENSE FOR LIFE GETTING TO BE ALIVE.

My first Substack post touches into some of this. I’m excited to continue deepening into the intersection of personal healing work with collective healing/change work. And into deepening into all of my gifts to be of highest service - to myself, and you, and the world.

Let’s keep going.

Planning some juicy fall group containers. Stay tuned.

This Wednesday in our Refuge circle we’ll welcome the relationship between grief & gratitude into the room to teach us.

Refuge is an online community grief & joy practice held every 4th Wednesday of the month (this month it’s on the 3rd Wednesday).

Let’s bring grief (and gratitude) back into the light, and back into community.

06/11/2026

Grief rituals tend to bring forth gratitude and joy, gratitude practices tend to bring forth grief. All signs of being alive, of life force and energy moving through the body and soul.

I also embrace numbness at times when it comes forward - the dorsal vagal strategies like dissociation, shutdown, numbness, collapse - are here to serve a purpose as well. To protect us, our psyches, our bodies, from what is too much to feel, to process or experience. To get us to hit a big stop button, even sometimes is a part of healing.

Yet what happens if we get stuck there, or spend way more time there than we’d like, in the numbness, shutdown, collapse? We feel less alive, we feel less connected. Less available to be present with others. And we become much easier to oppress as well.

We’ll explore the relationship between gratitude and grief in our next Refuge practice - Wed June 17th 7pm EST.

Link in bio. Suggested sliding scale, no one turned away for lack of funds.

Thank you to teachers like Holly Truhlar & Francis Weller for teaching on this phenomenon, which I see clearly in the spaces I lead as well.

Some of my favorite moments are when I feel a restrictive subconscious pattern shift and a more easeful, and true way of being becomes known.

In my own work and my work with clients, I have an eye for spotting these - subconscious patterns that were once protective and adaptive - that may now function more as drains of energy and blocks to authenticity and mutually beneficial relationship.

In the past, I often would push myself to present a full decision, and my default is to take on too much, so that’s usually how my decision would lean.

In this new way of being - honesty about the in-between, I see how collaborations, projects, relationships can bloom to their fullest potential. The places I actually don’t have full alignment or capacity for stay open perhaps for a better fit to fill.

Honesty with care wherever possible, and without blame but simply truth of what’s alive.

When the journey to a destination is full of over giving and bypassing, it’s likely the end result will reflect that with some quality of inauthenticity or instability. Approaching the journey with honesty about what’s really here is setting the stage for a more holistic destination with authentic roots.

Growing capacity for complexity is good medicine for these times.

I notice as I do this practice, I can shift from an urgent, frustrated, judging, or even powerless place to a place of wide, curious, layered awareness. Over time, where I was previously stuck in freeze, I start to feel flow, ability to take a next aligned step.

In relationships, where there was tension and opposition, room is made for organic solutions, collaboration, and empathy.
