Here’s an update from Danny Payne:

“I know i haven’t updated in a while, so here’s the full extent…

I broke my right fibula
Dislocated my ankle
Tore the deltoid ligament

Next wednesday I’m having surgery to repair everything. I’m terrified about being put under because every surgery ive ever done has been locals.

I’m gonna have a plate and several screws implanted to my leg to repair it. The surgery is only expected to take 2 hours.

It’s not fully guranteed that i’ll have full use of my right ankle. If I do, it’s gonna take several years

Now the good news

I’ll still be able to play hockey. The doctor even recommended using ice skating as a way to rehab.

As for wrestling?

It’s NOT a career ending injury but I made the decision that I’m not sure it’s worth the risk. So who knows maybe, one day in the future, Danny Payne shows up one more time.

But i know this is just a setback.
