Today, we celebrate the hardworking men and women who keep our communities strong. We are especially grateful for our Rotarians, volunteers, rodeo athletes and local businesses who work together to make the Franklin Rodeo possible.

We hope to see our Franklin Rodeo Fans tonight to support our amazing 4-H community at the Williamson Co Ag Center!!

At the Franklin Rodeo, we’re proud to support Williamson County 4-H and the incredible young people who represent the future of agriculture in our community.

This year, the Williamson County 4-H Livestock Show & Sale is being held separately from the fair, giving our youth an opportunity to truly shine. These hardworking students spend countless hours raising and caring for their animals, learning responsibility, leadership, and the value of hard work along the way.

We hope you’ll join us on Thursday, August 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park to cheer them on and, if you’re able, support them by purchasing quality locally raised beef, lamb, or goat.

Come help us celebrate and invest in the next generation of Williamson County. We ❤️ our Williamson County 4-H youth!

A big thank you to the City of Franklin, TN - Municipal Government and City Administrator Eric Stuckey for this great update on the Franklin Rodeo Plaza and statue at Jim Warren Park! A special shout out to Patrick Baggett for Ward 4 Alderman, a fellow Rotarian, for his vision and support in helping bring this special project to life.

This area will honor the 75-year history of the Franklin Noon Rotary Rodeo and the money it has helped raise to support our community.

We’re so grateful to the City of Franklin for helping create something that will celebrate the Rodeo’s legacy for generations to come. Be on the lookout for more updates as we get closer to the statue unveiling and celebration in October!

We love supporting our local 4-H!! Come join us! UT Extension-Williamson County

Join us for the 2026 Williamson County 4-H Chick Chain Sale! The sale will be held at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park (4215 Long Lane) THIS Saturday, August 22! The auction will begin at 10:00 AM!

The Sale will feature FIVE BREEDS! The pullets raised by our 4-H students this year are Black Australorps, Blue Rocks, Gold S*x Links, Olive Eggers, and Production Reds! These are all breeds noted for their gentle temperaments and egg production. The pullets will be available for viewing by 9:00 a.m. The Grand Champion, Reserve Grand Champion and Breed Champion pens of 5 will be named at 9:45 a.m. and the auction will begin immediately thereafter. The sale will be held in Barn A at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park.

Pre-registration for the Chick Chain sale is required at https://tiny.utk.edu/4HPulletSale where you can pre-register as a buyer. This link will also have more information about the sale, each breed of pullet available and more. A map of parking, information about entrance to the event and the sale process will be sent to those who register as buyers.

The 4-H’ers will be selling, in lots of five, approximately 375 pullets. These will be five months old, and most will have already begun to lay. They are beautiful birds and excellent egg layers. If you plan to buy, be sure to bring boxes or crates to transport your pullets home following the sale. Please pass the word along to anyone who may be interested. This is a great opportunity to purchase some high-quality birds and support the 4-H Poultry Program!

For 250 years, America has been defined by courage, sacrifice, faith, and freedom.

From the ringing of the Liberty Bell to the waving of Old Glory over hometown parades, family farms, and communities across this great nation, the American story continues to be written by generations who have loved, served, and sacrificed for something greater than themselves.

At the Franklin Rodeo, we are proud to celebrate those values. The rodeo has always been more than a Western tradition. It is a tribute to the spirit of America, honoring our military, first responders, farmers, ranchers, and the hardworking men and women who make this country strong.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, may we remember those who secured our freedom, give thanks for the blessings we enjoy today, and commit ourselves to leaving an even stronger nation for generations to come.

One of the most meaningful traditions at the Franklin Rodeo is recognizing our Hometown Heroes, the men and women whose service, sacrifice, and dedication make our communities and our nation stronger.
