MEXICO UPDATE: We were not expecting rain, but the rain came! Rain is something that breeds a lot challenges for the school as well as for the kids and their families. We thought the school's Director could explain it best. What she says will surprise you. Americans face challenges, but the challenges these precious people at this Deaf school face are next level.

As we said, we are fundraising for the school. We are close to raising enough money to pay for sealing the floors. We are still a few hundred dollars shy. While we were running errands, the school's van blew a water pump. So we are fundraising for more school supplies, gas money for the vehicles to pick up the kids ($150/day) and a water pump for a van. You can help! NASHVILLE'S HEARTBREAK

It's a big day in Nashville. We lost a legend. Nashville can hardly breathe without Dolly Parton. Years ago one of our students with Downs signed a Dolly song. We thought it woud be nice to post it in honor of the amazing lady we lost.

BSL NASHVILLE 2026: Rockin Day of Fun!
We spent Saturday touring Nashville. We hit the Parthenon, Music Row, homes of the stars, and of course we went to the incredible Opryland Hotel! It was such a fun day together as a family!

We were so excited to welcome Michelle Murray Swope to BSL NASHVILLE 2026! Michelle is an industry stylist and the founder of award winning Encore Off Main ! We are grateful she spent time with us educating us on how to manage our look as sign language interpreters! Every performance interpreter knows we fight humidity, heat, rain, perspiration and our own unique hair and skin challenges. Her wisdom helped us tackle those needs! Thank you Michelle for your hard work, your wisdom, and your inspiration!
