Hi Everyone,

We are so excited to share something new coming to New Generation Karate. This is a program created especially for the women in our community.

We’ve seen so many women in our dojo who are strong, giving, loving, and who take care of everyone around them. Sometimes in the middle of all of that, we forget to take care of ourselves.

Introducing “ReClaim Her Self”
ReClaim Her Self is about finding your way back to you.

The HER before the schedules, the rushing, the roles, the responsibilities.

The HER who felt lighter, happier, more confident, and more connected to HER self.

This is a women’s fitness class, but it’s also more than that. It’s A MOVEMENT…

It’s:
• A space to move your body and feel stronger

• A place to breathe and decompress

• A chance to reconnect with yourself

• A supportive community of women who get it.

No judgment.

No pressure.

Just encouragement and good energy.

This program is for:

• Moms who feel like they’ve been giving to everyone but themselves

• Women who want to feel comfortable in their bodies again

• Anyone who has ever looked in the mirror and thought, “Where did she go?”

• Women who are ready to feel good again physically, mentally, and emotionally

You didn’t lose her.

She’s still there.

She just needs space to come back.

ReClaim Her Self is that space. Please use the below link to schedule your FREE intro class.

Google review of New Generation Karate - Martial Arts & Fitness by Lars Frantzen 04/18/2024

Hey neighbors…

For those who don’t know, I own and operate New Generation Karate, with my family, in the Holiday Farms shopping center. I started out 26 years ago and have personally taught many of you, your family members, and your friends. In all those years, it can sometimes become routine, and I dare say monotonous, for me, as it is part of MY daily grind.

I’ve been actively involved in the martial arts training since 1982… I’ve been to Thailand for Kickboxing, Brazil for Jiu Jitsu, and the Philippines for stick and knife fighting… literally around the world to train. It was never cheap, nor convenient. Yet, I saw it as necessary means to chase my dreams and achieve my goals. Often times students join, and at some point, life gets in the way, or other activities, or a boyfriend/girlfriend, job, etcetera, which makes a student “quit.” It both confuses me and frustrates me; and, on some level disheartens me.

I take the role of “Sensei” with utmost seriousness. When a student joins my dojo, I see the warrior within them. I see their potential. I see the sculpture which lies within the stone. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than guiding each student to find it, see it themselves, and reveal it to the world for all to see.

When a student quits, I take it personally… like I somehow failed at my mission, and I somehow failed my student by not showing them the real power of dedication, determination, perseverance… and most importantly, what lies on the other side of whatever obstacle is pulling them from their training and their goals.

BUT… when I get a review on Google, like THIS ONE… from a raving fan of what we do in the dojo, it reminds me of my mission, renews my faith in my purpose, and fuels my passion for what I’ve devoted my entire life’s work. This dad is a devoted, yet quiet “dojo dad” who barely makes a peep in the dojo. His words gave me a lump in my throat, and poured fuel into the fire in my heart. Had he said this to me in person, it would surely have brought me to tears… but shouting it from the rooftops, for all to see, has both humbled me, and has me beaming with pride and joy.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Lars. Thank you for the honor and privilege to be your family’s Sensei. Thank you for your continued support, and your ongoing encouragement. Thank you for reminding me of the importance and the impact of my mission. Thank you for your kind words and sentiments… and for shouting it from the rooftops.
