Hey All:
Hey Kids - It looks like we are working towards a robust team this year. Think we may be able to have full squad scrimmages if we get a few more players. If your player's name is not on the list, just shoot me an email. We lost contact with some of you over the winter and that does not mean, you lost that Warrior Love.

Please help us recruit a few more good kids. Remember "Good Kids" is defined by "kids you want your kids to hang around with." If a kid has the right attitude, he will be a winner off and on the field.
Franklin Square Warriors' 9yo Team
We are about making ourselves, our teammates and the game of football better with each practice. We are fierce and friendly. We get knocked down. We get up again.
On and off the field we show determination, kindness, respect, class and dignity.
Hey All,
Hoping everybody's Spring is going amazing! If you have not done so, please get your player registered. It looks like we have some amazing new athletes joining our team and our league is expanding!
We may do a few backfield workouts in a few weeks. Our team has at least a dozen kids who can move the ball with speed, power, agility. We will, of course, emphasize our blocking, so each of our kids can do what they do best.
Looking forward to continue seeing your posts of your kids playing soccer, baseball, at the beach, in the woods, playing lacrosse and doing the most important thing there is, family time!
Thanks All!
Just a little tease...
1. We already have several new players signed-up.
2. Our season is tentatively scheduled to start July 1st
3. Friday Night Lights is schedule for September 10th
4. Opening Day, Sunday September 12th.

Hey All - Nothing Obligatory Here.
Wanted to see who would be up for a little Flag Football the Friday morning after Thanksgiving? Low-key, high-smile fun. Traditional. A Chance to get the kids outside and off the video games. We can, course, invite some other friends, who may want to play.
Friday, November 27th / 10:30am / Rath Park
It looks like the weather is going to break our way for the Olympic. Yes!
A 50 percent chance of showers before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 61.
The Muddier...The Funner.
Next Practice - This Wednesday.
Scrimmage and Olympics on Saturday. Check-in with Kim to confirm what you are bringing.
We may need a little help setting up some events.
I bet Warrior's Football is one of the best check that you ever written, but was not cashed.
Cheers!
It is starting to feel like football weather, eh? Enjoy the weekend! Let's see if we can get everyone on the field this Monday and Wednesday. We will scrimmage the second half of practice on Wednesday. So, lets prepare by bringing both a light colored and dark colored sweatshirt or a light colored and dark colored t-shirt that you can slip over a sweatshirt.
Enjoy this perfect weekend weather.

I have the mouthpieces. They will need to be cut and then molded. There are lines on the mouthpieces for cutting. Start with the line closest to the edges of the horseshoes. Please be helmet ready by Monday's scrimmage versus the 7yo's. We will warm-up with the helmets on...but your player may want to get used to it ahead of time.
Because we are scrimmaging a younger team, we are going to give adjust the rules slightly to make it more competitive.
Please wear a WHITE SHIRT..and remind your parent teammates to make sure their player is in WHITE.
Scrimmage will start at 6:30pm. We will "walk thru" our plays from 6:00pm to 6:30pm.
On Wednesday we are going to practice in helmets. We are going to steal some drills the 10 year-olds were doing today. It will be a lot of fun.
Hey All - As you heard Nassau and Suffolk County High School Fall Sports will occur in March and April. This decision was finalized yesterday by the Board of Superintendents, Nassau County Athletic Committee and Nassau County Athletic Council.
The decision to play Youth Sports is decided solely by the local government. With that said, hundreds of parents from member teams of the Nassau County Youth Football League are writing "Let Them Play" letters to Laura Curran.
The proper email address is: [email protected]
Thanks ...Roy
Hey Cool Peeps - I put this message in the app as well. On Saturday, I will have mouthpieces that will need to be cut and "molded" for your player. Scrimmage time is 2:00pm. We will not need helmets for the scrimmage.
Please have your player, helmet ready for practice on Monday. We are scrimmaging either the 7yo's or 9yo's starting at 6:30pm. We need to warm your players up with their helmets- especially first year players - who have not had to play wearing them.
If you are not going to be at the scrimmage on Saturday...have a friend or neighbor grab the mouthpiece for you.
