Did You Know?
Depression affects more people than many realize. An estimated 280 million people worldwide live with depression, making it one of the most common mental health conditions. It can impact every area of life—our thoughts, emotions, relationships, sleep, and even physical health.
While yoga therapy is not a replacement for professional mental health care, research shows it can be a powerful complementary approach. Yoga therapy uses gentle movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques to help calm the nervous system, reduce stress hormones, improve mood, and increase a sense of hope and well-being.
As a Certified Yoga Therapist, I create personalized sessions that meet you where you are—whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, depression, or simply feeling overwhelmed.
Healing doesn't happen overnight, but small, intentional steps can lead to meaningful change.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18 ❤️
If you'd like to learn how yoga therapy may support your mental and emotional well-being, or know of someone who would benefit from this type of therapy.I'd love to connect.

Mediative Monday-Yesterday was the summer solstice. The first day of summer.
Spend a few moments with something growing today.
A tree.
A flower.
A garden.
Nature never rushes, yet everything unfolds in its own time.
May we remember that our own growth follows the same quiet wisdom.
“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1
As we welcome the season of summer, may we trust the timing of our lives, embrace the light before us, and remember that every season carries its own gifts, lessons, and opportunities for growth. ☀️🌿

Pose of the day: Warrior 2 also known as Virabhadrasana II, is a foundational standing yoga form that strengthens the legs, glutes, and stimulates abdominal organs. It also
relieves backaches and improves balance and flexibility, builds stamina & concentration, energizes tired limbs, opens chest & lungs, stretches hips, groin, & shoulders.
It involves taking a wide stance, bending one knee, and extending the arms out to the sides, creating a strong and stable stance.
When you practice this pose think about being grounded in Christ. In I Corinthians 16:13 it says, "Remain alert. Keep standing firm in your faith. Keep on being courageous and strong."
Modifications:
Place hands on hips or to heart center
Use a bench or chair under your front thigh
Hold onto something for balance
Deepen Posture:
Move into a forward fold
Interlace fingers behind back and look up opening chest
