Coops Chop Shop

Hello all!

We are returning very soon.

We are using a temporary logo till Mr. Cooper finishes with the new logo.

There have been questions about taking donations. We’re not quite ready for donations yet. We want to completely redo the shop first and prepare as I know you guys absolutely kill it when it comes to bicycle donations and we will absolutely need to replenish our supply’s.

So please, hang tight. We will make a formal announcement regarding when bicycle donations can be made.

We have a long road ahead of us and hope that yall will join us for part 2 of this glorious adventure.

We have a couple of projects we’d like to share now to build some interest in our goals.

Project 1: We plan to reopen not only to help get children and adults in need bicycles, but this time we will be adding a new mission. Diabetes Awareness and education. We plan to build a couple of diabetes awareness bikes. One bike we’d like to build is a Track Bike to showcase in races to bring awareness to children who battle diabetes. I absolutely hate this disease with a passion and hope to bring awareness to children who do have it and let them know, it’s okay to have it and still be able to successfully live a full filling life. The struggle is real not only for children, but adults the same.

Project 2: we are talking with a scout troop to build a Scout Focused bicycle. I understand they can earn a patch for bicycling and we would love to get involved to teach these kids how to build and maintain their bicycles all while having fun leaning how to customize their bikes, what makes bikes work and how easily it is for maintenance to be done at home. I will be looking for some Mountain Bike donations and supplies for this project.

I am looking forward to getting back into Coops Chop Shop.

We have a story to tell and look forward to working with each and everyone of you to help us not only share the story, but to also bring some joy to those who are in need.
