As we near the last day the HSI Waco cheerleaders want to take a moment to dedicate a few words to Emma Brenner,

It’s impossible not to reflect on how much these past two years with you as our captain have meant to all of us. Emma, you have been more than just a leader to this team. You’ve been the steady voice during stressful moments, the person who always knew how to make us laugh when practices got hard, and someone who truly cared for every single person on this team.

You led with so much grace, strength, and heart, and because of you, this team became a family. Thank you for every early morning, every sideline talk, every word of encouragement, and every memory you helped create. It’s hard to imagine this team without you.

Watching you head to Texas A&M to study political science makes us so proud, because anyone who knows you knows you’re destined to do incredible things. You have the kind of passion, intelligence, and kindness that leaves an impact everywhere you go.

No matter where life takes you, you will always be such an important part of this team and our hearts. We love you endlessly, captain. Thank you for everything 💙❤️
