📣🥳We have exciting news to share!
Ondas Cultural & Movement Arts has been selected as one of 8 finalists for the 2026 Local Lift Social Innovation Pitch Competition, hosted by United Way of Tarrant County!

Local Lift supports nonprofits, social entrepreneurs and small business owners working on ideas around financial security, community health, youth opportunity and community resiliency — and we're honored to be part of this year's cohort. Over the next eight weeks, we'll be sharpening our idea, learning from expert mentors, and connecting with other local changemakers.

We'll be pitching live in November during Global Entrepreneurship Week for a shot at a share of $75,000 in funding to help bring this work to even more people who need it. Follow along as we go through this journey.

We want to thank the local Fort Worth businesses that supported this event, including Fort Worth Botanic Garden, Main Event Fort Worth South, and Rockwood Go Karts and Mini Golf, who provided every participant with vouchers to enjoy their amazing facilities!

We are greatful to Sprouts Grocers, who donated fresh fruit and water for our kiddos to snack on.

Kendra Scott and Jay Laine- Laine to Wellness graciously provided us with our door raffle prizes.

And we are always so happy with the product and service of our event Tshirts with Eylan Arts Custom Tshirt Printing, and the shirt and program designs that Jess Grady Design helped us to put together.

This event was held at Victory Forest Community Center with the help and support of their amazing staff, and was funded in part with a programming grant from the City of Fort Worth and Arts Fort Worth.

We also had an incredible group of volunteers, our full board, and our in-house instructors there to bring this event togther, as well as our amazing guest instructors who generously brought their knowledge and practice of the arts to our community.

Spring class series!

We have two new 6-week Capoeira series starting - find the right one for you!

Adults (ages 15+): Thursdays, 6:30pm, begins April 16th! $100/6 classes

Families that kick together stick together! Saturdays, 2pm, begins April 18th! $125 for 2 family members, $20 for each additional member for all 6 sessions!!

This series is timed perfectly, and will end with our Spring Cultural Festival, with chances to perform, take class with visiting Master Teachers, and so much more!!

Our Drum & Dance series are a study of traditional rhythms and dances from Brazil, that celebrate a rich heritage through music and movement.
Puxada de Rede is a beautiful stage adaptation of the hard labor of fishermen, put to a hypnotic rhythm and told through beautiful dance!
