⭐️Led the Bears to the 5A D2 state championship game, first title appearance in program history
⭐️Led 3-0 before losing 6-5 against Montgomery Lake Creek ( #2 team in the nation; Lake Creek had allowed 3 runs in 5 previous games at UT-Austin)
⭐️Swept 30-win Hallsville (2025 5A D2 runner-up) in state semifinals
⭐️Bears went 27-10 - posting back-to-back 20 win seasons for the first time since 2014-2015
⭐️Averaged nearly 9 runs per game

Brewer's Ava Pena became the 13th UIL softball player to have 4 hits in a 6A or 5A UIL state game (not including the semifinal round in 2025 & 2026). Ava went 4 for 4 vs Lake Creek in the 5A D2 championship

Among the 12 previous players, Ava is the first freshman to hit the mark. She's also the first player to do it in 5A since 2016 when Gianna Valforte did it for Birdville against Frisco in the semis
