Meet our Faculty!
Ms Linda Silva began her early training at California Dance Theatre with Kim Maselli and Patrick Frantz and continued to study privately with Starr Danias. She was offered a Merit Scholarship to study at Interlochen Arts Camp for two consecutive summers. Linda also attended Boston Ballet summer program, Houston Ballet Academy and the School of American Ballet. While in California, she was an apprentice for Coast Ballet Company and also performed with Golden State Ballet Company. After graduating from High School, Linda was offered an apprenticeship with the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago for the Nutcracker season. Afterwards, she was invited to study on scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. Linda attended Texas Christian University where she was awarded the TCU Nordan Scholarship, a dance merit scholarship. She graduated with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and now practices as a Registered Dietitian. Linda has been teaching ballet in DFW for 25 years and this is her 13th year teaching at Ballet Center of Fort Worth. Ms. Linda is also the children’s repetiteur during Nutcracker season for Ballet Frontier of Texas.

Meet the Faculty!
Ms Jaclyn Ruiz moved to Houston, Texas from Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1999 to train with the Houston Ballet Academy on full scholarship. Upon graduation she was awarded the Michael Wasmund Award for her love and dedication to ballet. She joined Houston Ballet in 2001, and later joined Texas Ballet Theater in 2002 under the direction of Ben Stevenson, O.B.E. where she met and danced alongside Enrica and Chung-Lin Tseng.
During her tenure at Texas Ballet Theater, she danced many soloist roles including the third movement Pas de Deux from Ben Stevenson’s Four Last Songs, Rosaline in Romeo and Juliet, Big Swans in Swan Lake, Summer Fairy in Cinderella, Fairy Beauty and Pas de Quatre in The Sleeping Beauty, and the lead Spanish Girl in Don Quixote. Some of her favorite ballets include Ben Stevenson’s Dracula and Peer Gynt. She has enjoyed performing in many Balanchine works including Serenade, Who Cares?, and Theme and Variations, as well as Val Caniparoli’s Lambarena.
Jaclyn retired from the stage in 2013. She is excited to join the staff of Ballet Frontier and to share her knowledge with the company dancers.

Meet our Faculty
Taiwan-born, Mr Chung-Lin Tseng began his artistic career as a figure skater, and in 1984, won a gold medal for pair’s figure skating in the Taiwan National Championship. In 1990, he accepted a two-year, full scholarship to the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts where he developed a strong background in classical ballet and partnering technique. In the spring of 1992, Mr. Tseng had the great honor of performing in London in the production of Hong Kong Heartbeat where he was privileged to meet Princess Diana.
Prior to coming to Texas, Mr. Tseng danced with the Universal Ballet Company of Seoul. As a soloist for 6 years, he danced in 11 full-length and 19 one-act ballets.
In 1998, Mr. Tseng joined Texas Ballet Theater where he performed as principal dancer under the direction of Ben Stevenson.
Mr. Tseng began his choreographic work as a student under the supervision of Aaron Wan. He continued developing his talent choreographing for Universal Ballet and other professional groups in Taiwan and Italy under the supervision of Roy Tobias. He has presented two full-length evenings of his choreography in Fort Worth with dancers from Fort Worth Dallas Ballet (former Texas Ballet Theater) and his works were selected by the Star-Telegram as one of the “ Ten Best Performing Events” of the year 2002. In the summer 2004 Mr. Tseng staged the full-length production of La Sylphide for the Kaohsiung City Ballet in Taiwan. Mr Tseng was appointed Visiting-Artist-In-Residence at Southern Methodist University, Division of Dance, in 2004. In 2005-2006 has taught as part-time adjunct faculty at Texas Christian University, Department of Ballet and Modern Dance.
Mr. Tseng is the founder Artistic Director of Ballet Frontier of Texas the performing wing of Ballet Center of Fort Worth. His productions of Ballet Frontier’s Nutcracker and Pinocchio gained the company recognition with the Star-Telegram and D-Magazineas, as one of the best productions in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Ms. Tseng is from Italy, Chiavari, where she began her training studying classical ballet with teachers such as Mr. Erik Bruhn, Ms. Yvette Chauvire’, Mr. Bruno Telloli, Mr. Ricardo Nunez, and Ms. Ekaterina Maximova. Ms. Tseng started her professional career in Italy where she danced with Teatro Comunale of Florence, Teatro Regio of Torino, and Teatro Nuovo of Torino. In 1990, she accepted an offer from Mr. Roy Tobias to join the Universal Ballet Company of Seoul. She was quickly offered soloist roles and achieved the rank of Ballerina when she was chosen to perform the leading role in the Marinsky Theatre production of Swan Lake.In 1998, she was offered a contract as Principal Dancer with Texas Ballet Theater and she was featured in all the principal roles of the company repertoire. Under the inspirational artistic direction of Mr. Ben Stevenson, Enrica has being given the chance to perform in some of the most beautiful masterpieces in the ballet repertoire.
In September 2006, she received a special award as a “Distinguished Italian Artist in the World” from the jury of the LericiPea, in Italy. Enrica retired from the stage in April 2008 after a successful career with Texas Ballet Theatre and she was once more awarded the “Dancer of the Year” by her colleagues.
In September 2005, Mrs. Tseng and her husband Mr. Chung-Lin Tseng opened Ballet Center of Fort Worth, where they pass on their talents, passion, and artistry to future generations of dancers. Mrs. Tseng was invited to teach one of the Master Classes at the Star of Canaan Dance Competition 2015 and 2016 in Hong Kong.
Mrs. Tseng was awarded Outstanding Teacher by YAGP 2022, and her students were awarded top prizes.
