Some of our boys got some good work in at Rival Boxing in Wichita Falls this past Saturday as they prepare for the Rival Boxing Championship in OKC this weekend! Our competitors have been training hard! Our participants:

Nate didn’t get the win yesterday afternoon capping off our week at the nationals. He was matched against a formidable opponent from Hawaii ranked number 1 in the nation. There was no denying his experience, but it’s an experience that Nate will soak in and use as fuel work harder to improve his skill set. We’re extremely proud of both Nate and Alec as both captured their first national wins. They showed they belong and this tournament showed them there are levels. They have the tools to go further and we’ll do whatever it takes to get them to that next level. We’re excited about this journey and hungry for more!

We would like to thank the Fort Worth Police Department and FWPAL unit for all their support and for making this destination tournament possible!

Alec Dominguez won a great fight this afternoon against a cagey opponent from Philadelphia. Alec lost the first round, but came on strong the last two to secure a unanimous decision. We compete again tomorrow at noon.

Our North PAL Boxing Family would like to extend congratulations to our team members and Class of 2026 Graduates:

Anthony Triana - Northside High School. Will be attending University of North Texas in the fall pursuing a degree in Business Management.

Billy Barbosa - Northwest High School. Pursuing his passion in Home Construction with his father.

Julian Maldonado - Texas State University, majored in Criminal Justice. Pursuing career with the Fort Worth Police Department.

Our graduates continue to train in the sport of boxing and are great assets, examples and mentors to our youth!
