🧡 THIS NORTH TEXAS GIVING DAY, WE HAVE THREE BIG GOALS.
North Texas Giving Day is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Metro Blaze, and this year, we’re asking our community to help us accomplish more than just one fundraising goal.
🎯 OUR FIRST GOAL: RAISE $10,000
We want to raise $10,000 to help fund another year of our mission: creating opportunities for blind and low-vision athletes to play, compete, build confidence, and thrive.
📣 OUR SECOND GOAL: GROW OUR REACH
There are so many people who don’t know that blind sports exist, or that athletes who are blind or low vision are out there training and competing.
That’s why growing our social media community matters.
Right now, we’re almost at 600 Facebook followers and we’re only 4 followers away from 400 on Instagram! 🎉
If you follow us, like our posts, share our content, or tag someone who should know about Metro Blaze, you’re helping us reach people who may have never heard of us before.
🧡 OUR THIRD GOAL: MAKE OUR ATHLETES FEEL SUPPORTED.
This is the reason Metro Blaze exists.
Blind athletes are a demographic that is often unheard of and overlooked by the general public. We created Metro Blaze because we believe our athletes deserve to have a community that sees them, supports them, and celebrates what they can do.
We want our athletes to know that they are not competing alone. Their community is behind them.
So whether you donate $5, $50, or $500, follow our page, share a post, or simply tell someone about what we do, you are helping us move toward these goals.
