My life looks night and day different than it did a decade ago. I was once hopeless and pursued unhealthy things to fill the God shaped hole in my heart. What was once selfish and useless, God made useful. Was once lacking vision and purpose, but now resourceful and walking in what God has for my life. Today I am thankful for my family and all the good things He’s brought into my life. Before any of these good things came into fruition, I read about these good things in great books and especially my Bible. Though the learning never stops, I am grateful for the seasons of solitude spent in these books.

Today was a very special day that I will cherish forever. I woke up and trained for the first two hours of my day, and then got the opportunity to take my son to his first dentist appointment at the same office where I had my first teeth cleaning 30 years ago. When life gives you these moments, it’s important to put everything else on pause and soak it in. Thank you for taking good care of me and my family.
