Over the past few weeks we’ve gained new followers so we think it’d be a good idea to introduce ourselves. We are Austin and Marissa Ritchie, the husband and wife team behind “ Rip It Ritchie Crappie Jigs”. Austin’s love of fishing and passion for helping others catch fish were brought to light during the dark days of Covid. What started out as a new hobby tying jigs for himself and friends quickly evolved into an exciting opportunity. First, we thank God for his talent and craftsmanship. Second we are thankful for our friend Trish who gave us the space and opportunity to share our products in the bait shop at Lake Weatherford. Austin does everything to bring yall the best products. He casts the lead on all our hooks, he shaves and paints all hooks by hand, he mixes all the paint and plastic as well as “ hand pours” the plastic for all our plastic baits. No big fancy machines here! At this point you might be thinking “ what does Marissa do?” Well I’ll tell ya. I make these posts, I hand write fun notes on your shipping receipts, and, I’m the “ hey yall & howdy” yall hear at the famers market. I do all the motivational pep talks before every new product post and website update. Together we are the Ritchies but because yall we are “ Rip It Ritchie” so thanks for the follow, let’s have some fun out here! 🎣🤘🏽
