INTRODUCING BREAKING‼️
We are so excited to have Miss Jocelyn joining our family🩵

Jocelyn “Evil-Lynn” Eckhout is an experienced Hip Hop dancer, educator, mentor, and event producer with more than 26 years of training and cultural study in Breaking, Locking, House, and freestyle. She began her Breaking journey in Fort Wayne in the early 2000s and has continued her education through workshops, competitions, events, and cultural exchanges with Hip Hop pioneers, educators, and community leaders. She has competed in Breaking, Locking, and House for more than two decades and has performed at festivals including B-Supreme in London and the J.U.I.C.E. Dance Festival.

Jocelyn has been dedicated to teaching and mentorship throughout her career, volunteering as a Breaking and Locking instructor at Fort Wayne Hip Hop Dance Studio before spending more than a decade as a Dance Instructor, Mentor, and Internship Facilitator at Rocketown in Nashville. She has taught youth and young adults while supporting their artistic growth, leadership development, and personal development.

As the Founder and Creative Director of Neustalgic Grooves, Jocelyn creates educational opportunities centered around authentic Hip Hop culture, curriculum development, workshops, and community engagement. She also founded and produced Freestyle Rock, a Hip Hop cultural event bringing together dancers, musicians, artists, DJs, and community members. As a member of Venus Fly All Styles Crew since 2005, Jocelyn continues to perform, teach, collaborate, and advocate for the culture she has dedicated her career to preserving and sharing.

1:15 p.m. - Kinder Stars ages 5-6 (kindergarten)

We will have 5 guest artists offering classes at the studio! We are pleased to welcome Sydney Chappell, Jocelyn Eckout, Mady Justin, Cristin C***s Miller, and Sarah Satterfield to host classes in a variety of styles! 🎉

All dancers ages 6 and up are welcome to join in on the fun!
