✨ MEET OUR SEASON 16 SENIOR — KATE POTTER ✨

It’s officially senior season for Kate 🤍 We are so excited to celebrate her, watch her soak in every moment, and cheer her on throughout her final season at EDC.

How are you feeling going into your senior year?

“This year feels very bittersweet. I am looking forward to growing personally and with my team through my last season.”

If you could give your younger dancer self one piece of advice, what would it be?

“I would tell my younger self to start dancing earlier. I started dance when I was 9 years old, and I would give anything to have discovered my love for dance earlier.”

What do you think will be the hardest part about your senior year?

“The hardest part about my senior year will be maintaining the mindset that there is still so much more life to live after high school both academically and dance wise.”

What are you most excited to accomplish before your final bow?

“My goal is to choose a college dance program that will continue to help me build on the maturity in my dancing and further my technique, as well as provide opportunity for academics.”

We can’t wait to watch Kate make the most of every class, every stage, and every memory during her final year with us. Here’s to an unforgettable Season 16. 🖤✨

How are you feeling going into your senior year?

“I am so excited for my senior year. It feels like the first year I can really explore and focus on my personal goals both academically and in dance.”

If you could give your younger dancer self one piece of advice, what would it be?

“I would tell my younger self to never take a class passively, always make the most of each day, even when you are tired. One of my favorite quotes is ‘You’ll never regret working hard,’ which is definitely something I’ve learned to be true over the past couple of years.”

What do you think will be the hardest part about your senior year?

“The hardest part of my senior year will be trying not to get ahead of myself. I want to enjoy every day to the fullest, but I am also very excited for my future after high school.”

What are you most excited to accomplish before your final bow?

“I am most excited to use the skills I’ve learned from my time at Elite to audition for BFA programs!”
