We know a lot of you have a four-legged training partner who never turns down a walk, is always ready to head out the door, and thinks every run should end with treats. ๐
So today, we want to see them!
๐ธ Drop a photo of your dog in the comments! Bonus points if theyโre wearing their running gear, joining you on a walk, or patiently waiting for you to get home from a run. ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐
Letโs fill the comments with the official four-legged members of Fort Wayne Running Club! ๐พ๐๐

๐โโ๏ธ Runner Confessionsโฆ Letโs hear them! ๐
Whatโs something you do as a runner that you KNOW makes no sense to others?
๐ Have a โluckyโ pair of shoes?
โฐ Set 5 alarms for an early run?
๐ Eat the exact same thing before every race?
๐ Refuse to throw away a race shirt from 10 years ago?
๐ฑ Check your watch every 30 seconds?
Drop your runner confession in the comments! ๐
No judgment here. Weโve probably done it too. ๐

Meet new FWRC member Adam:
As an adult, I started running as a way to quit smoking. At first, it felt like a way to punish myself for my bad habit, but I quickly realized I loved running just as much as I had loved playing soccer as a kid. I've been running ever since 2011. My favorite places to run are anywhere with waterโwhether it's along a river, lake, or ocean. Around here, even a pond will do the trick. After running many Fort Wayne Running Club races over the years, I finally decided it just made sense to become a member. One thing I'd like fellow club members to know about me is that I have a personal rule: I never take a sport so seriously that I wouldn't stop for a photo or simply to enjoy the view. So far, my favorite FWRC event is the F***y Freezerโitโs one I always look forward to!

Be honest, runnersโฆ how many race shirts do you have hiding in your closet? ๐
And more importantlyโฆ
๐ฅ Have you ever signed up for a race partly because you loved the shirt?
๐ฌ Have you ever received a shirt so questionable that you immediately thought, โWellโฆ this is going in the yard-work pile.โ
๐ Do you have a race shirt that is so good you still wear it years later?
๐ And are you Team โI wear my race shirts everywhereโ or Team โThese are sacred running memorabiliaโ?
We want to hear your race shirt hot takes! ๐
Bonus challenge: Post a photo of your favorite race shirt in the comments. ๐ธ
