We’ve seen literally everything and every type of family in our time helping kids learn basketball in Fort Wayne and the number one trait a parent can have to teach their child is emotional stability. Meaning when they look at you in the stands, when they talk to you about their sport, you are stable. You’re not too over-the-top. You’re not extremely negative exactly how you handle your emotions is exactly how the child is going to handle their emotions on the court… we don’t want the children to be emotional decision-makers. We want them to be strategic decision-makers on the court.

DM us to get started on your child’s journey to development. More games/teams ≠ improvement. Obviously basketball is 5v5 and you must know how to play within a team setting, but if you do not develop your child’s skills early to be ABLE to play within a team, it doesn’t matter. If you get to high school and you can’t play, you can’t play. No ifs ands or buts. It’s crucial to develop a well rounded set of skills to be able to fit into any system.
