Bring your friend.

Because apparently, friendship means:

“Let’s get stronger together.” 🤝

…and 47 minutes later:

“Are you still alive?” 😂

That’s the thing about training with good people.

They make the hard days more fun.
They push you when you need it.
They celebrate the wins.
And occasionally, they stand over you while you question every decision that led you here.

Bring a Friend Week is coming to Fort Fitness this September.

If you’ve got someone you’ve been telling, “You should come work out with me,” this is your sign.

Bring them in.

We’ll take care of the rest.

Send this to your buddy or tag your person below
💙💪🏻💛

These aren’t professional athletes.

They’re Fort Wayne moms, dads, professionals.

Business owners. Teachers. Nurses. Students. Husbands. Wives.

People with careers, kids, packed calendars, stress, responsibilities, bad days and plenty of reasons they could have skipped the gym.

But for 12 weeks, they showed up.

They put the work in.

They got stronger.

And last week, they got to find out just how much stronger.

PR after PR after PR.

But honestly, the PRs aren’t the part we’re most proud of.

We’re proud of the person who walked in on a day they didn’t feel like training and did it anyway.

The person who added weight when they weren’t sure they could.

The person who discovered they were capable of more than they thought.

And the person who stood over a barbell, took a breath, gave it everything they had...

…and made themselves proud.

That’s what we’re building at Fort Fitness.

Not professional athletes.

Not fitness influencers.

More capable people.

People who are stronger for their families, more confident in themselves, and better prepared for whatever life throws at them.

So to every member who showed up, put forth their best effort, and gave this 12-week cycle everything they had:

Congratulations.

Whether you hit a PR or simply became a little stronger than you were 12 weeks ago—

you won.

And to everyone who hit a PR last week...

We’re damn proud of you.

This is what happens when everyday people combine hard work + dedicated strength training + coaching + a community that has your back.

Fort Wayne, this is what your neighbors are capable of.

Summer momentum is a rap and it’s a great opportunity to ask yourself…

“What worked this summer and what didn’t work this summer?”

We rely and fall to the effectiveness of the systems we have in place. And we all need systems that make basic lifestyle habits repeatable week to week that help us show up a little more capable than last week.

The best thing you can do right now is ask yourself. What do I need to keep doing that worked and what do I need to change that isn’t working. Write down one actionable item that your answer inspired and relentlessly pursue that habit every week until Halloween 🔥🎃🔥

You joined a gym because you wanted coaching.

But somewhere along the way, it started to feel like you were just another person walking through the door.

You show up.
Do the workout.
Go home.
Repeat.

Nobody really knows what you’re working toward.
Nobody checks in when life gets busy.
Nobody sits down with you to talk about your progress.
And you’re left wondering if what you’re doing is actually getting you where you want to go.

We don’t think that’s what coaching should feel like.

Your goals should matter to your coaches.

Your starting point should matter.

Your life outside the gym should matter.

And when you hit a wall, your coach should help you figure out what’s next, not leave you to figure it out alone.

Because the goal isn’t to make you dependent on your coach.

It’s to help you become more capable, confident, and empowered in your own fitness.

That’s why we take onboarding, assessment, and coaching seriously at Fort Fitness.

You shouldn’t feel like just another member. You should feel known, coached, and supported.

If you’ve been looking for a different kind of CrossFit experience in Fort Wayne, we’d love to help.

Sore doesn’t always mean successful.

DOMS can happen when we dramatically increase volume or introduce a new movement—but soreness alone isn’t a scorecard for a good workout.

The better question is: Did today’s training serve you, and are you getting measurably better over time?

That’s the stuff that matters 💙🙏🏻💛

Stop Training Your Body to Be Hungry 08/17/2026

Training doesn't stop at the end of the session. Coach Lauren chats about relatable fueling challenges and tools to improve your nutrition performance in our latest blog

Stop Training Your Body to Be Hungry Tools. We all need them. All of us have a toolbox somewhere that we rely on in moments ofneed. Maybe it’s a screwdriver to put together a new toy for the kids, a hammer to hangsomething on the wall, or a wrench to tighten a bolt under the sink.Regardless, tools are useful. So today, this blog is a...

Some weeks, the bright spots are PRs.

Some weeks, they’re learning a new skill, running a little farther, moving a little better, finding confidence, or simply showing up when it would’ve been easier not to.

This week, we saw all of it. 🌟

From first-time BMUs to bigger deadlifts, faster runs, better technique, hard-earned confidence, and Michael Gough and Matthew Carden pulling 500 for 3 dead-stop reps, our members keep reminding us what consistent work looks like.

And honestly? We couldn’t be prouder of this crew.

Keep showing up. Keep stacking the wins. Keep getting a little better.

We see you. We’re proud of you. 💙💪🏻💛

Suddenly, running a few 400’s doesn’t sound too bad when we get to play with the barbell first 🏃🏻‍♂️💪🏻🏋🏻‍♀️
