It's Croquet Night tonight! Come on out and try the sport of Golf Croquet, a fast-paced, exciting, strategic and social version of the classic backyard game.

Come on out and join us at 6:00 pm tonight (or any Wednesday night). No experience or equipment necessary.

Our inaugural Croquet league starts next week but it isn't too late to get in on the fun! We'll be playing Golf Croquet, a fun, fast-paced, strategic and social version of the game.

If you would like to join us for a 10-week league that runs on Wednesday nights starting Wednesday, August 19th and running through the end of October, send a note to [email protected].

No experience or equipment is needed. Just wear flat soled shoes.

Cost for the league is $150 per person.

We had a great grand opening yesterday (more details to follow). The weather held out for us and we had a wonderful time.

Fort Wayne Curling Club opens lawn bowls and croquet green The Fort Wayne Curling Club Saturday held a grand opening for a new bowling and croquet green, and introduced clubs that will utilize the green for both sports.

Club Founder Craig Fischer and his teammate went 3-0 yesterday at the Milwaukee Croquet Club Doubles Open and 1-1 today, losing a close match on the last shot, to be 4-1 during pool play. That positions them for either Seed #1 or #2 in their pool depending on the results of the final round robin games in their pool tomorrow. Semi-Finals at 9:45 am CT, and finals, if they should be so lucky, at 12:15 pm CT.

Plus they had some nighttime glow-in-the-dark croquet fun!

The Fort Wayne Croquet Club is being well represented at the Milwaukee Golf Croquet Doubles Open tournament at the Milwaukee Croquet Club this weekend.

Club Founder, Craig Fischer, is playing with James Creasey of the Denver Croquet Club and founder of Jiminy Wicket.

2-0 so far including a win over the women’s national champion.

Next game at 4 pm CT.

Another historic day on the green. This time it was Golf Croquet getting its debut. We were at full capacity with 16 intrepid curling club members and their friends/family venturing onto the green to try their hands at Golf Croquet for the first time.

Everyone had a blast and are eager to come back.

Plus our bar shed got delivered!
