If your dancer is interested in being a part of the 2026-2027 Boss Lady Dance Company Competition Team, please read carefully!

Competition Team registration will CLOSE Monday, August 17th, 2026.

This deadline applies to BOTH NEW AND RETURNING DANCERS.

🏆 ALL DANCERS INTERESTED IN COMPETITION TEAM MUST AUDITION.
Being a returning BLDC member does not automatically secure a spot on the Competition Team. Every dancer interested in competing must participate in the audition process.

💜 TRYOUT CLINIC

📅 August 18th & 19th
⏰ 6:00–7:00 PM EACH DAY

Dancers only need to attend ONE of the two clinic dates to be eligible to audition.

During the clinic, dancers will:
✨ Learn the official tryout routine
✨ Review technique & majorette skills
✨ Prepare for audition day
✨ Receive tips to help them perform their best

🏆 AUDITION DAY

📅 August 20th
⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM

Dancers will be evaluated on:
⭐ Technique
⭐ Performance Quality
⭐ Showmanship
⭐ Ability to Learn Choreography
⭐ Flexibility
⭐ Overall Potential & Attitude

If your dancer is NEW or RETURNING and wants to compete this season, you MUST complete registration and indicate your interest in the Competition Team by Monday, August 17th.

💜 TRAINING TEAM REGISTRATION WILL REMAIN OPEN! 💜

Training Team is open to new and returning dancers, and NO audition is required. Registration will remain open until mid September OR until spots fill — whichever comes first!

So whether your dancer is ready to EARN THEIR SPOT on the Competition Team or wants to grow, learn, and build confidence through our Training Team, we have a place for them! 🦋👑

Don’t wait! If Competition Team is the goal, August 17th is the deadline to register your interest.

I’ve had a lot of parents asking about tryout dates, so here are all the details 🦋

First things first… NOT every dancer has to try out.

✨ Tryouts are ONLY for dancers interested in joining our Competition Team.

If you’re simply looking for your dancer to learn majorette, build confidence, and have fun, they can join our Training Team, NO tryout is required 💜

If you’re interested in the Competition Team, here’s what you need to know:

August 18 & 19
🕕 6:00–7:00 PM (both days)

Y’all….I promise I’m not trying to send you on a scavenger hunt 🤣 But before you hop in my inbox with questions PLEASE click the registration link and read the first section first! I work REALLY hard putting that information together because I try to think of every question a parent might have before they even ask it. Practice schedules? ✔️ Cost? ✔️ Start date? ✔️ Age? ✔️ It’s all in there!!!! Now don’t get me wrong I absolutely don’t mind answering questions! That’s what I’m here for 😌 buttt sometimes my replies are delayed because I’m working, coaching, being a wife, being a mama, and running this program. If I respond with “Be sure to check the registration form…” I’m not being rude or brushing you off PROMISE 🤞🏾😂 I’m just directing you to the information I’ve already prepared for you.

Boss Lady runs the way it does because it’s a well-oiled machine. We stay organized so our dancers have the best experience possible. Truth be told…August through December is already planned, scheduled, and PACKED 🤏🏾 So help ME help YOU!
