Join us for our next FREE Women’s Jiu-Jitsu & Self-Defense Class on Sunday, June 21st from 10:00 AM–11:00 AM.

This class is designed specifically for women looking to learn practical self-defense skills, build confidence, get active, and be part of a supportive community.

No experience is necessary, and beginners are encouraged to attend.

Whether you’re interested in self-defense, fitness, or simply trying something new, we’d love to have you on the mats with us.

For a while, Legacy existed mostly in my imagination and in the belief of a few people around me.

I think seeing the vision I’ve carried in my head start to come to life brings a strange mix of pride and disbelief.

Not because we took 3rd place, but because of what it represents. The growth, the milestones, the lessons and the community we’ve built along the way.

And the crazy part? We did it in one year.

Thank you to every family that has trusted us with their child’s growth and development. Your belief in what we’re building means more than you’ll ever know.

But if you know me, you know 3rd place isn’t enough.😏

We’re coming for that top spot.

Today officially marks one year in operation for us.

One year of classes, competitions, challenges, growth, and building something special from the ground up.

What started as an idea has grown into a community filled with incredible students, supportive families, and people who believe in the vision. We’re grateful for every person who has stepped onto our mats and trusted us to be part of their journey.

Thank you for being part of this first chapter. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about where we’re going.

I have alot of people to thank for this so if you had a hand in it, know that I am forever grateful.

Working through a different variation of side control escapes ➡️ getting to the Clamp Position ➡️ entering the Triangle.

A big focus within this system is understanding that escapes shouldn’t always end in neutral positions. A lot of times, once you’ve successfully gotten to the inside, it costs the same amount of energy to immediately counter attack than to simply reset and put your training partner back to neutral.

Tonight we continue building on our Half Guard System.

Incoming Award Ceremony

May 30th marks our official 1 year anniversary of being in operation. What started as a small group of kids has grown into an amazing community and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey.

To celebrate this milestone, we will be holding our official Award Ceremony on June 7th.

We will also have joining us for the event and setting up a station to take family pictures and portraits for any families who would like professional photos after the Award Ceremony.

Yesterday we introduced a new system that’ll eventually connect with the rest of what we’re building, piece by piece, and we’ll watch the bigger picture slowly come together.

We’re making a roadmap where it’s not just learning random techniques, but understanding how everything connects.
