🐢💙 A Special Reef Encounter! 💙🐢

A big thank you to George for capturing video of this beautiful hawksbill sea turtle on a recent dive!

Hawksbills are critically endangered, making every encounter a special one. If you spot a hawksbill on a dive, please make note of the location and, if possible, snap a photo or video. These observations can help researchers better understand and protect these amazing animals.

The foundation is also behind Reel It In for the Reefs dive annually, a community effort that brings divers together to remove discarded fishing line and marine debris from our reefs before turtle nesting season.
