Getting older has a way of forcing you to look back and forward at the same time, to see how far you’ve come, but also how far there still is to go.

The game of life the past few years has been an unpredictable ride, the kind that rattles you, and at times makes you wonder if it will ever smooth out.

I used to wish the game of life would get easier, but games aren’t meant to be easier. You are meant to become a better player.

You adapt. You grow. You level up.

This year isn’t just about pressing start. It’s about expanding my skill set, elevating my standards, and taking my life to the levels I've already promised myself.

The higher the level, the greater the challenge… but also, the greater the reward.

Here’s to playing the game like my life depends on it, because it does.
Here’s to mastering the difficult, not avoiding it.
