https://www.powerboatnation.com/lake-st-clair-donzi-fun-run-returns-this-month/

Mark your calendars! The annual Lake St. Clair Donzi Fun Run is roaring in on July 23-25! Open to all Donzi sportboat owners across the USA, this extravaganza is a much-awaited tribute to the revered Donzi brand. It's masterfully curated by C.R. Nihranz, a founder of the Lake St. Clair Donzi Club and a fanatical Donzi aficionado, just like many of you. Last year we welcomed enthusiasts from 10 states, Canada, and as far-flung as Florida! Let's pray for good weather and hope to meet even more new faces.

Our three-day maritime adventure kicks off with a lunch run to the lake's west side, a potential Detroit run under the bridge to Canada, and a return raft-off at Gull Island.

Day two starts with a meet-and-greet at the North Channel Yacht Club, a scenic tour around Harsens Island, with a pit-stop at the Clinton River Boat Club for lunch, culminating in a Muscamoot Bay raft-up.

Day three takes us to Marine City for breakfast, the exciting race festivities in St Clair, a jaunt to Port Huron to marvel at Lake Huron, and possibly a Goose Bay raft-off. Don't miss this thrilling celebration of Donzi camaraderie!

Today's Bay Harbor Lunch Run had a pretty solid turnout, despite the morning drizzle.

An iconic part of the sponsored by , it usually draws in hundreds eager for sun, sea, and good eats. Now, Mother Nature had other plans.

Waking up to gray skies and typing rain, many boaters decided to skip the freshwater facial on Today. Unlike most, I braved the rain to catch up with familiar faces - like Michael Knoblock of , and the Tokars, with their pristinely groomed French bulldog.

I jokingly asked John Tokar if his boat had windshield wipers. "Nah," he chuckled. "The water just ripples off once you get going."

Despite the weather, the spirit of the event remained. A good day for food, friends, and a touch of freshwater adventure.

https://www.powerboatnation.com/nor-techs-northern-exposure/

Surviving the excruciating heat & humidity of Southwest Florida is a challenge right now, yet, it's also the proud home of Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats. On the brighter side, the oceans are mesmerizing as always. The new Nor-Tech 4000 Roadster catamaran, however, will be chilling in the Boyne Thunder Poker Run fleet.

The Michigan’s annual aquatic carnival is why I'm here, apart from work. Tomorrow kicks off with the Bay Harbor Lunch Run, followed by the traditional welcome party at Boyne Mountain Resort, backed by American Custom Marine & Nor-Tech.

Unfortunately, Nor-Tech’s big guns, Henrik Margård & Geoff Tomlinson, are snowed under with duties at home. The responsibility thus falls on Knobby's (Michael Knoblock) shoulders to host the grandeur. He'll also be representing Nor-Tech on water with the new 42-Eleven center console while delivering a 450 Sport center console and a 4000 Roadster catamaran to Michigan-based buyers.

Local Nor-Tech’s will also grace the event, including the 39-footer by the ever-present Lemanskes. Ironically, they love spending winters in Southwest Florida, enjoying the boating paradise. However, they're exactly where they need to be, braving the summer!

Note: Stay tuned for “36 In 35” resuming on July 15 on speedonthewater.com, celebrating Nor-Tech's 36 models over 35 years! 🚤

https://www.powerboatnation.com/dealing-with-derelicts/

Abandoned and derelict vessels (ADVs), ranging from powerboats to sailboats, are sadly common on our waterways. Don't be fooled into thinking they're charming, quaint, or valuable. In reality, they're environmental issues, navigation hazards, and downright ugly eyesores.

The BoatUS Foundation knows this nasty truth and is taking action at the "Turning The Tide Summit" from December 6-9, 2026 in New Orleans—sharing ideas to tackle this issue with public, policy makers, marine enthusiasts and industry leaders.

Special focus will be on exploring innovative technologies and responsible practices for disposing of ADVs, with an emphasis on recycling fiberglass and composite, as well as dealing with boating-related waste.

BoatUS Foundation's Director of Outreach, Alanna Keating, says no waterway community is safe from ADVs and boating waste. The summit provides opportunities for education, networking and developing effective solutions.

Registrations are open, with differing rates for general attendants, nonprofit workers, and students.

This summit is part of the BoatUS Foundation ADV Program, which is geared towards removing and preventing ADVs from our coastal waters and Great Lakes. This includes a national database to track ADVs supported by the NOAA Marine Debris Program. Let's help turn the tide! 🌊🛥️

The temperature's rising as Sunsation Boat sales are on fire at the WMF Watercraft And Marine, Cape Coral, Fla. We've built our stellar reputation on the Avalon line of pontoon boats and our power-hungry buyers are truly appreciating our latest range of high-performance outboard engines. Meet the newest addition to our hit duo: performance-oriented Sunsation line.

Our recent voyage to the Sunsation Headquarters, Michigan, brought tons of good news. We sold off a 32 CCX Sunsation yesterday itself which was nothing less than a grand success. Our team member Johnny Quintero personally assisted a client at the headquarters to order a new 34 CCX.

We can't wait for the 34-footer to grace the WMF display at the annual Fort Myers Boat Show this November.

Our beloved dealership's latest 27-foot, custom-painted “Ford GT Heritage Blue” Avalon Excalibur Carbon model powered by twin 425-hp Mercury Marine outboards is now in the hands of a proud Southwest Florida local. Heard of our services through “word of mouth”, he loved the American-made beauty on his first run and bought it right off! .
