Daily lessons help lock these life-saving skills into their muscle memory so they become second nature. Focus & Efficiency: Keeping lessons to 10 minutes prevents physical fatigue and cognitive overload, making sure every single second in the water is productive and positive. Trust & Comfort: Seeing Gina every day builds a secure, predictable routine. This consistency helps children feel safe, letting us focus on building true water competence—not just water confidence. Real safety in the water comes down to layered protection and applied survival skills.

As you head into today’s celebrations, keep these essential safety habits top of mind:

1️⃣ Designate a Water Watcher: Assign a specific adult whose only job is to supervise the water without phones or distractions. Rotate every 20 minutes so everyone stays sharp.

2️⃣ Touch Supervision: For infants and toddlers, a supervising adult should always be within arm’s reach in the water.

3️⃣ Know the Limits: Holiday excitement drains energy fast. A tired guppy is a vulnerable guppy—wrap up the swim session before they hit a wall.
