How to properly set up your kettlebell swing:
1. Create your tripod stance — big toe, little toe, and heel grounded. Grip the floor with your feet and create a strong base.
2. Place the kettlebell about a foot in front of you and hinge back to grab it (don’t squat down).
3. Pack your shoulders, engage your lats, and hike the kettlebell back.
4. As the kettlebell gets close to your body on the return, start hinging your hips back to load the swing.
5. Drive your hips forward explosively, squeeze your glutes, and let the kettlebell float.
6. Repeat with power from your hips—not your arms.
Remember: The swing is a hip hinge, not a squat. Build the foundation first. 🔥

Motivational Monday 💪🔥
If you keep waiting for the “perfect time” to start… you’re going to keep waiting forever.
You tell yourself:
“I’m too busy.”
“It’s too expensive.”
“I’ll start when life slows down.”
“I’ll start next month.”
But guess what? Time is going to pass either way.
The question is… where do you want to be when it does?
The picture on the left was taken in 2017, before I started my fitness journey.
That was me at 200 pounds, unhappy, uncomfortable, and honestly not listening to myself. I was drinking more than I should, my nutrition was all over the place, I wasn’t prioritizing my health, and I was constantly putting myself last.
I kept telling myself I would change “one day.”
Until I realized… one day was today.
Starting my fitness journey wasn’t about becoming a completely different person overnight. It was about making one decision, then another, then another. It was about learning discipline, building confidence, and proving to myself that I was capable of more.
Fast forward to today… I’m stronger, healthier, and living a life I once only dreamed about.
Your future self is waiting on you to make that first move.
Don’t wait until you have more time.
Don’t wait until you have more money.
Don’t wait until everything is perfect.
Start now. Adjust along the way.
And if you’re ready to stop starting over and want guidance, I have 2 spots open for online coaching.
DM me “READY” and let’s talk about your goals and see if I can help you get there. 🔥
Part 12.
If you’ve ever cried in your car before a workout…
If you’ve ever smiled for a picture while silently falling apart…
If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and wondered if you’d ever be enough…
I see you.
Fitness didn’t save my life because of the weight I lost.
It changed my life because it gave me a reason to believe in myself again.
Every workout was a promise.
Every healthy meal was an act of hope.
Every time I showed up, I reminded myself:
“I’m still worth fighting for.”
And maybe that’s what fitness has always been about.
Not building the perfect body…
But rebuilding the person inside it.
❤️ If this spoke to you, send it to someone who needs the reminder that it’s okay to start again.
Whenever someone asked me to go Kettlebelling 😅
Hey.
Can I be real with you for a second?
You’re not stuck because you don’t know what to do.
You know what to do.
Drink your water.
Hit your workouts.
Track your food.
Get your steps in.
Go to bed earlier.
You’re stuck because you’re waiting to feel like doing it.
And that’s the problem.
The people getting results aren’t motivated every day.
They’re tired.
They’re busy.
They’re stressed.
But they do it anyway.
Meanwhile, some of y’all are spending more energy making excuses than it would take to just do the damn thing.
At some point, you have to stop waiting for motivation and start building discipline.
Because the life you want?
The body you want?
The confidence you want?
It’s not coming from wishing.
It’s coming from the work you’re avoiding.
That’s the harsh truth.
